Junior Executive
Responsibilities:
- To support the Business Development team in generating new leads, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth objectives. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone looking to build a career in sales and business development.
- Conduct market research and identify potential new clients or market segments.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and social media (e.g., LinkedIn) under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral.
- Help maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate lead and client data.
- Support senior executives in client meetings and follow-up activities.
- Attend industry networking events or exhibitions to represent the company and gather leads.
- Providing product demonstrations, technical guidance on ingredients, and collaborating with R&D on product improvements.
- Provide administrative support to the business development team.
- Analyze basic sales data and prepare routine reports on lead generation activities.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelorโs degree in Food Science, Business Studies, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a sales and customer service.
- Internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Confidence in speaking on the phone.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with social media for business purposes.
- Attitude: Highly motivated, resilient, and eager to learn. A proactive "can-do" attitude is essential.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently on assigned tasks.
- Organization: Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Preferably Malay candidate to handle with Halal related products.
